HADES — Sick and tired of hearing various “Bill Gates is Satan” jokes, the Prince of Darkness today issued an edict demanding an end to such friviolities.

“How dare you compare Bill Gates to me!” Satan snarled during a fake press conference from the Fire & Brimstone Briefing Room broadcast live on CSPAN. “Yes, we all know Windows is an evil piece of crap — and I applaud Bill Gates for his efforts — but he doesn’t even come close to the sheer vileness that I possess!”

Ho BRAH! I laughed my okole off all through this one. I not sure if it was meant to be ‘that’ funny or not, or if my sense of humor is as twisted as the writers of this one, but it was hilarious!

Charlie Wilson(Tom Hanks) was superb! Without ruining the whole movie, Charlie Wilson’s covert ops in Afghanistan using ’secret’ money, while trying to get out of cocaine charges… how twisted is THAT? I found it politically typical, and actually believable. Joanne Herring(Julia Roberts) acts out a Texas ’suthen belle,’ and actually persuades Charlie to go to Afghanistan to start the ball rolling.

Seriously… I laughed REALLY hard through this one. It’s a must see!

Mike Terry(Chiwetel Ejiofor) is swamped in debt. His crazy wife goes and gets a loan from a loan shark, and Mike is forced to fight in a competition.

I wanted something else from this movie, and what I got was actually refreshing. I was looking to see plenty of kung-fu theatre action, but what I got was a nicely wrote and acted movie. There was a couple twists in this one that I never saw coming till almost the end of the movie, including his own wife selling him out.

True honor and friendships, theft, sellouts… lots of things to think about as you watch this flick.

Sue me, I took a break from my computers today. I’ve been so wrapped up in my blogs, and my IRC network, that I haven’t really taken too much time for myself lately.

I took a trip to the north side of the island(Kohala and Hawi) to see my papa and a few of my aunties and uncles. I also had yet another great lunch at this little hole in the wall diner called Sammy D’s. If you are ever north side of the Big Island, go eat at this place and tell Sammy or his wife that Brudda John sent you. They make one of the best hamburger steaks I have ever eaten in my life and for a REALLY good price.

Other than that, my day went slow, and restful. The weather was immaculate today. Sunshine and beautiful breeze off the Pacific all day. I actually got a fifteen minute nap at my papa’s house! Imagine THAT!

At any rate, thanks for your patience on new blog posts. I’ll be back up and going at it tomorrow, so expect a bunch of new things, including a sneak peak at my new Prismacolor piece, jokes, and whatever else happens to cross my path in the internet.

Smoothed out the flames a bit more, and decided to leave the piece as is with no eye in the middle.  No worry though, my eyeballs ARE coming… *smiles*

Sorry for the three pics.. couldn’t get the lighting right. Still have a lot of smoothing out to do in the flames, and still have to figure out what I’m going to set in the center. I was going to place an iris and pupil of eye reflecting the flames, but I think that’s gonna be too much busy… *shrugs*.. comments are welcome of course. Enjoy!
